My classmate and member of several teams

    I'm sorry to hear :(

The name sounds very familiar - what class are you in if you don't mind me asking?

Tribute for the late Shane Brennan
    Thursday, 19 May 2005

    Shane Brennan died on Monday

FAI president Milo Corcoran has asked that a period of silence be observed at all eircom League matches as well as National Cup Finals this weekend as a mark of respect for the late Shane Brennan.

The Athlone Town player died following a freak accident in his home town of Newtownforbes in Co Longford.

The 23-year-old was also a member of the Irish Technical and Private Colleges soccer team for the past three years, and was aiming for a place on the Combined Irish Colleges team for this summer's World Student Games in Turkey.

    RIP.

I'm in fourth year in Aungier St- "Retail and Services Management",

two weeks til he had to hand his thesis up, he was so close, we sat our exams in march so that bit was done......we got what he had done bound and handed it to his parents at the funeral. He's gonna get marked and he will get his degree.
He was a member of the DIT football team............think he might have been captain.

No one in college knew he was called Mousey back home, one of the lads happened to go to Longford town one weekend and heard everyone calling him that. We were slagging him over it but he went mad....was funny...he banned anyone in the class from calling him mousey. I didn't know til the funeral and his mates got up to say a few words about him
