BBC has a standard 'tv' out connector that is designed to plug via coax straight into a tv aerial socket.

Anyone know of a way to connect it to a Monitor, or will I need a tv card ??

IIRC it's got a modulated output - TV and a compostite output nearby - can't remember if it's the 5 pin din pug. The composite output on the original Beeb doesn't have a colour signal !!

You are looking at a TV card or something that will take composite mono.

Yep - the connections are :

    UHF out.
    Video out.
    RGB out.
    Cassette.
    RS423.
    Analogue in.
I want to utilise the UHF out to tap into the massive 16 colour array :)

Intresting I reckon the TV card is the best way. Seeing as we are being Retro any idea how to get Amstrad 6128 connected to a standrad monitor. My mother threw out the monitor that came with it because she thought it was a broken TV.

6128 (black unit) or the bigger 6128+ (cream coloured unit) ??

I know the 6128 was actually powered FROM the monitor feed, so it might be a bit tricky, not sure on the 6128+, but I know a guy who will, so I'll email him for ya
