Hey. I have a very early flight to catch tomorrow morning. Has anyone been in Dublin airport since the new security regime was installed so that they can advise me how early I should arrive?

have been thru twice since the new "Improved" security checks went into action. Much longer queues but still only took about 15mins.

Speed things up by taking everything metal of yourself including your belt and watch and put them in your bag. Also be prepared to take your shoes off.

Oh and the odd random bag check is performed which consists of a half-hearted look at the inside of your bag

Was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning around 6:00am - absolute madness. Was there again on Saturday at around 7:45am, not a queue in sight. It appears that the peak times are from 6:00am - 7:30am, I would imagine Monday would be particularly bad.
