Did they look as good/better than the Lidl offering next Thursday (€120)?

Just looking at the Lidl offers. What exactly does this do?

It says it on the link
    # For supplying 12 v equipment at home and on the road
    # Jump starts for automobile and motorcycle.

It's basically a rechargable battery for running things off.

That battery pack looks good. 12V 7Ah is the same as 35 high power AA 2000mAh batteries. Comes with all the jacks. You could use it for a stereo, should last ages.

I wasn't sure if it was a battery or something you plugged into your car lighter to give power to normal plugs (like what I bought off unklerosco before :) )

Do you think it's worth it so? Would be pretty handy to have. I find myself staying in my car for long times with friends with the stereo on so would be handy if one of these times (it hasn't happened yet) it killed the battery. How would you jump start the car though?

Like any rechargeable thing it needs to be kept charged and I guess it's pretty heavy too. Good price but unless you go camping or do a lot outside I doubt it's worth it

How much are such things usually? Is this a crazy offer that must be taken up now or do they sell for a fiver dearer usually?
