    Hey, does anyone know where i can get a MAP prescription on a sunday in limerick?? Is there any sugeries or Family Planning Clinics open? Also, is there anywhere you can get it for free?

    Try and contact Shannondoc, they do an out of normal hours service, I don't have any contact details though.

    The chemist on the corner of Sarsfield street and Henry street should be open and also the pharmacy in Castletroy S.C. is open Sundays.

    Osbourne's chemist is open till 1 today, its on the ennis road across from the holy rosary church.

    yeah i know the chemists are open but i need a doctors surgery thats open to get the prescription first

    Go to a chemist and ask them which gp is doing weekend surgery. Gp's normally open on rotation and give lists of who is open when to chemists.

    Bear in mind you have 72 hours to take the morning after pill. You can also have an iud fitted post-coitally up to 5 days after intercourse to act as post-coital contraception.

    The IUD MAY NOT BE SUITABLE for women who have:

    * painful or heavy periods
    * unexplained vaginal bleeding (this should be investigated before using an IUD)
    * moderate to severe anaemia
    * previous ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the Fallopian tube)
    * a past history of PID
    * uterine or cervix abnormalities
    * valvular heart disease
    *never had a child

    The IUD IS NOT SUITABLE for women who have:

    * PID
    * infection of the cervix (cervicitis)
    * a high risk of STIs (currently has or is likely to have more than one sexual partner, or a partner who has more than one partner)
    * cancer of the uterus, cervix or endometrium
    * an allergy to copper
