NTL BB 2mb speed !!

in some areas !!.
I am in Dublin 7, Blackhorse Ave and my 750k has not increased yet,.
but less than a mile away my son's 750k connection is now working at 2000k,.. 
we
both verifed this using the speed test here ,...anyone else notice this ??..
