I've been using mozilla effortlessly for a few months now. Installing updates as came along etc... Today it just stopped working. It opens, fine, but it just sits there not trying to access any sites.

    IE works.

I've uninstalled it, then deleted it's folder, reset pc, and reinstalled it.
It comes back on (still having my bookmarks somehow), and does the same thing, just sits there, blank staring at me, not even trying to access a page.

There is no proxy or anything setup. It is allowd thru my firewall. It is 1.04 I've installed, it had been 1.03.

    Suggestions? :)

Try using the Safe Mode shortcut.

You haven't deleted the firefox profile folder found at:
    "C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\"

Try changing the Firefox shortcut target to:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p
to open the profile manager and then create a new profile.

Or install into a different directory. I have a messed up install in ...\program files\mozilla firefox, but a fully working one in ...\program files\firefox
