Just wondering did anyone hear anything about where the likes of Liverpool, Celtic, ManU, Chelsea etc were having their pre-season tours/friendlies in July? I know Arsenal are in the Amsterdam Tournament (29-31 July) along with Boca, Porto and of course Ajax. Arsenal play Ajax on the Friday evening (8.15 Irish) and Porto on the Sunday evening (5.30 Irish).
If you know any other fixtures you might post them here. Thanks.

Celtic are going to the States if they can avoid having to play in the CL 2nd qualifying round by winning the league.

2 more Celtic fixtures is Inter Milan at Celtic Park at the end of July and Roy Keane's testimonial (Man U v Celtic) on August 3rd.

The England team will be in the states. Although as each day passes and more players drop out, its not really the england team,.

chelsea are playing some team that samsung own in korea i thinkbut im not sure its a substantial tour,it takes place very soon after the end of the PL and before the next round of the WC qualifiers in june so they might be going to the states ala last year

Regarding the Champions World Series tournament in the States, the only fixtures I can see are these:
    23-July-2005: Olympiakos—Milan (Toronto)
    27-July-2005: Chelsea—Olympiakos (Montreal)
    28-July-2005: Benfica—Olympiakos (New York)

Apparently the organisers are in some financial difficulty following last year's one and there may be only four teams involved.

The most recent comments from ChampionsWorld (chief exec) were after the Old Firm match and he described Celtic as the top draw and would try everything to get them over. They needed to find out asap if Celtic could take part but it was all down to who wins the SPL.

    There's a shock!
Americans don't watch soccer unless one of their teams are playing.
When you look at the 4 teams involved, couldn't see them selling out those fixtures apart from Milan if they play in NY.

Hibs are touring Ireland in the Summer.
