I'm just wondering. I got my phonebill from eircom and I was charged 3.30 for an Eircom net e-mail protector. What I'm wondering is what is this supposed to be for? I don't have their DSL service anymore (for obvious reasons) but does anyone know what it's meant to be for?

E-mail protector is for anyone with an eircom.net account.

You must have signed up for it but not unsubscribed when you finished with broadband.

Do you still use the eircom.net e-mail address.

It is designed to filter out spam.

You need to go online and unsubscribe. Should be a link in the e-mail sectiot.
