Nice pix, if you have any others feel free. I used to do alot of photography (landscapes/light) but lack of time and then music got in the way.

Hey ds20prefecture, did you take many more pics at the Blessington Rally on Sunday? I was there with the XK120 but forgot to bring my camera!

    I did : http://tinyurl.com/9graa - not for dialup users!

Sorry, but it was a new camera and not as many came out as I thought I had taken. That's my DS to the right of the first pic.

There's one or two of your car - what a beauty. Did I see you swinging around the roundabout at the Graduate pub the day before? I must say, there's little to touch an XK120 for beauty. Are they as heavy to drive as people say? They look so light.

If you save the pictures, you'll get the full size if you want to print them.

That's a nice Alfa Giulietta Spider toward the bottom.
Except I HATE it when people remove beautiful chrome bumpers, for that "bumperless" look.

    What it should look like.

Looking at those cars I think I'd better get the Autoglym out on Saturday...

Lovely photos and a fantastic and diverse selection of cars !

Looks like a beautiful day too !

I'd be embarrassed in the company of ANY of those cars, they all look perfect ! Somebody must know a good bodyshop man !

BTW DS20PREFECTURE.....I assume you have seen this months Classic Cars magazine, it has a nice feature on the DS !!

    Hi ds20prefecture

I live close by the Graduate so was probably me you saw on Saturday. Thanks for the link to the pictures, they are really good. A very good day was had by all on Sunday from all accounts.

As regarding the driving of the jag I find the old moss box to be more troublesome than the steering itself, however I would not recommend the car to someone who is weak in the arms especially when manoeuvring in tight spaces!

I have, thanks - i think it's great that a British Mag interviewed an irish owner.

Practically neighbours then - I'm around the corner. PM me if you want to have a good look at the only car prettier than an XK ;-)

I totally agree Atheist, except it wasn't an Alfa Giulietta Spider in that picture, but a 2000 or 2600 Touring Spider, designed by Vignale instead of Bertone, who drew the little Giulia's and Giulietta's

Have a look at this link, if you scroll down you see pictures of all the different Alfa models in a row, and it shows you the 2600 Touring Spider and the Giulia Spider.

God, there's some pretty examples there. You are quite correct in saying it is a 2600 Touring Spider. For me the pick of the bunch is the Giulia SS - for sheer beauty one to rival an XK120 or even a DS. They're mad money for a straight one.

For sheer presence, the 1936 Corsa Spider is pretty tasty - that's Zagato, right?

    I stand corrected... ;)
I'm just going to have to get one of each (with bumpers) so I'll know the difference in future!

Alfasudcrazy must be on holidays :D
