I know this is old news now but surprised not to see a thread on it.

    Link

He is a disgrace and am sure he will never be allowed to complete competively again. What a waste of talent cause a one stage i thought this guy had something special and would become a big star.

this is bullshít, hann can't catch a break, he didn't actually receive any money off whoever the guy was that went undercover, plus just because the sun or the star or whatever paper it was that made up this story, says something generally means it didn't happen.

although hann is a bit a waster, he should be doing alot better than he does, he's my favourite player.

why would the Sun try to entrap someone like that?
    Nice answer: to sell newspapers.
Real answer: because they are a total rag.

I'm not the biggest fan of Hann, but if it transpires that he didn't throw any matches, which the article suggests, then I hope he does not get banned/fined. If he did agree in principle to throw a match, and there is proof, then the governing snooker body would probably have no choice but to ban him.

Does anyone know if it is unlawful for an independant body, such as a newspaper, to try to bribe a sportsman to "throw" a match?

another thing to add, apparently the guy working for the sun was bribing hann to lose 5-0 in the china open, nobody notice that he lost 5-2 to ken doherty, who, even though i like hann, is a better player the vast majority of the time?
