I know a few of you wandered over to play in some of the Gutshot tournaments and might be interested to hear that the are being investigated by the police for possible infringement of the gaming laws. There was an article about this in Inside Edge magazine which seemed to centre on whether poker was purely a game of chance…

There was an article about this in Inside Edge magazine which seemed to centre on whether poker was purely a game of chance or skill , Derek Kelly who runs the place said he would happily take the case to every court he could , which would keep Gutshot going for up to 5 years, he finished the interview however saying he "wasn't going to jail for Gutshot". Sorry I can't link to the article.

Anyway, best of luck to Derek and the guys at Gutshot, you'd think the coppers would have better things to do with their time ! if any of you are in London and fancy a game it's a great club. www.gutshot.co.uk
