See here the problem the old man got tickets for the FA cup final i booked them tickets and i put the name of my Uncle joe that is goin with him, The name on his passport is Humprey, joseph and i put down Joe Desmond, its a flight from Cork to Brim

Contact the airline in question - you will most likely end up paying a name change free for a major change like that, unless you end up speaking to someone in a very good mood.
