Played a 7 Stud SnG on Pokerstars last night and noticed when a player folded, their exposed cards were mucked. I would have thought that they should be left there for everyone to see so that the remaining players can work out the odds etc properly. Is this normal or just Pokerstars?
When I used to play with the mates, we used to leave the cards showing
so you'd know what had gone already.

AFAIK It is the normal state of affairs, part of the skill of the game is remembering what cards have already been out but have since been mucked.

In a casino when a person folds his cards are turned over, so the online casinos mimick this. Part of the skill of 7cs is memory.
