The H10 has 4 upcoming flavours, the standard 5Gb, the 20Gb released last week, the 6Gb, and the 1Gb microdrive player. If you want more info visit the misticriver community at www.misticriver.net

There are a number of comparison images available on the site for the H10-5 H10-6 and H10-20

Also iRiver still do the H340 www.amp3.co.uk stock them as do many other stores, they also still do the PMP140, and if you look hard some places still do the H140, but very few new ones are available.

actually i believ the size of the 20g h10 will be pretty identical to the current size of the h320.

Yup the h10-20 is the same size (more or less) as the H320.

there is a section just about it on mistic. they do say its the same size. 5.4oz. You'd think they would be getting much smaller, its a good while that theyve been out now

The reason they aren't getting smaller is because of the size of the hard drives. However, once hard drives get perpendicular chip storage, they will be able to hold 10x more than now. So you'll be looking at 200GB of storage on a HD the size of a 20GB player, 400GB on size of a 40GB etc. Ooooooh I can't wait!!!

    I think that's fact anyway:)

What about OGG in the H10?

amazon.co.uk would be your best bet there

Does anyone know what the battery is like on the iRiver H10 20GB. I'm thinking of getting one, but I hear it's not replaceable? What's it's lifespan? How many charge cycles can it go through?

    Cheers,

    DC.

Try misticriver. Most 99% of batteries are replaceable, with a screwdriver. I have put ipod ones in (they piss on the originals, well worth getting)

The H10 battery is definitely replaceable. They are actually part of the units casing as far as I know as they are available in different colours.

    Check out www.digimania.be

Good for resonably priced iRiver accessories too.

If I were you I would make an offer on the €200 H320 above.

Thats a great price for it. Have one myself and its the business.....

dcGT its better if you start a new thread rather than latch on a reply onto a thread 5 months old. It saves confusion.
