she's just looking out for you .. she just doesn't want to see her little angel get hurt .. which you will at some stage!!

how about introduce her to him? make her see he's a nice guy and isn't going to do anything to hurt you

Make sure your grades at school don't drop or she'll blame it on him!

No, unfortunately - I was a complete nerd at school. But my mother always panics about schoolwork when my siblings start dating so I think it's good advice.

just bring him round to meet her and put her mind at rest even if he's only calling around to pick you up...

Bring him over, she'll think he's great you'll all be happy seriously. If the lad makes an impression your sound

Parents are always mindful of relationships with young people. She knows what young boys are after. She'll be unhappy, but I'd doubt she'd stand much in the way of it. She should know better.

Give her about a month, then have him call over to the house. It's a slow process of getting her used to it.

Everyone's dead right, if you introduce your mom and bf then it'll give her the opportunity to get to know him and hopefully like him too. If he's a decent guy and you like him so much I'm sure she will too.

far too early to be bringing a guy over! :)

bit early to be getting serious also, just take it easy, see how the relationship goes, then if you're still together in a few months, bring him over.

you could tell your ma that your bringing the bf round to meet her and then pay some strange smelly 50 year old wino a fiver to pretend he's him.

when the initial coniptions have died down to a reasonable level shunt the old alky out the door and bring in the real bf who you've cleverly stashed outside.

your ma's sense of releif will be so great that she will imediatley give her blessing to you both

(this probably wont actualy work ;) )

not when 15! after a few days she's calling him her bf ..
    all innocent back then!! :)

Do you have older brothers and sisters? If so, ask them what they did when they first started going out with people.

If you're the first born, then expect your parents to be over-protective and freak out at things they will later let your younger siblings do without blinking an eye.

i have older brothers.. but the problem there is they never had their gf's round, only ever met 1 gf of my bro's who he is now friends with.. other than that i've never _known_ about any gfs...
