    Hey all

How long do the morning buses from Ashbourne to Busaras take ?

Say to have you in town for 8:30, 9 ? Would the 07:25 do it ?

Can you always get a seat ?

Thinking of moving out there ... thanks for the advice

According to Bus Eireann Journey Planner it takes an hour so the 7:25 or 7:45 would get you into town by 9am.
You could ring them to see if that timetable is accurate.

I've emailed a friend who *used* to take that bus. I'll post again with the answer.

    Me mate replied:
7:25 bus would get into town by 8:15 during the winter months and by about 8:05 during the summer.

The buses are pretty reliable, unless one of the drivers doesn't show for some reason (they wouldn't have as much cover as Dublin Bus would).

Also, being in Ashbourne, you're at the Terminus, so you can predict the times very well. They leave pretty much bang on time.

You will almost always get a seat on the way in in the morning.
