HD caddy for Dell Inspiron 4000

    Anyone know somewhere that I can get one of these (around Dublin preferably)? I inherited an old machine at the weekend and I've discovered that the HD needs a caddy. I'm also on the look out for an power supply (Dell connector with 3 pins into the back of the machine).

    Hi I Have an Inspiron that needs to be reloaded.

    The DVD doesnt work!

    im looking for the same thing im looking for a hard drive caddy for a IBM x390 and its been a long search and i still hav'nt found one ...but i can tell you a couple of places to try ...there is a place on the SCR "SCR COMPUTERS" just down and across from the old john player factory the two guys who run it seem to have a lot of parts for old laptops ...also there is a place on stephens street which is at the top of georges street ,its called the pc hospital or something like that the guy in there is sound and if he has a spare one hanging around he will help you out at a good price ...he does'nt sell parts he repairs but he will try help you out ...then try the likes of the place over in fingalas that does all the computer recycling ...you never know what they have hanging around ...and if you get what your looking for then do me a favour and ask if they have a HD caddy for the IBM 390x :)
