    How the fúck can i get through to a human being in Bank of Ireland? I only want to cancel a direct debit on my account ffs.

    I didnt think you could only cancel a direct debit over the phone. They told me they needed it in writing.

    Indeed, put the details in a letter, sign it and post it into your branch, or leave it in personally if you have time, and you're done. They won't let you cancel a DD over the phone.
