What is the card playing like in Galway?
Im travelling down now soon for a return visit, but last time was down two taxi drivers assured me that the only casino was above a chinese, and very small.
Is it true that there is only one public casino in Galway? how can this be?
If there is more are they poker casinos or just blackjack/roulette etc?
also any info on games, tournos there for next wkend would be very helpful
    cheers

There are two clubs in Galway. Both very small.
    1) 21 club Forster street, established about 2 years. Not much poker played there except on a monday night when the other oine is closed.
    2) 4 aces, Dominick street(opposite roisin dubh pub) always a cash game going and have a tourney on a friday night with a €50 buy-in with 2 re-buys@ 25, blinds starty at 100-200, so structure is woofull. It is friendly place though.
Every wednesday night in the westwood there is a €75 buy-in with €10k guaranteed, usually about 100 runners.
