I'd especially like a girls opinion also.

I've talked about this girl before. The third thread describes the last time we met.
That was a few months ago. I got a bit depressed because I thought I had messed it up. I was spineless. But, last week I suddenly came out of my depression (I celebrated my 21st) and decided to ring her and ask her to meet up so I can just open up and tell her how I feel up straight. She said she definately would in a couple of weeks, but she is with back with her boyfriend now.

I need to let her know my feelings. I just hope she comes alone when we meet.

Do you think I should be more careful with what I say. Or, should I tell her as it is? Would it be stupid to say "I love you".

    cheers.

If she said she "definitely would in a few weeks" but then got back with her boyfriend, then you probably have no chance.

    My advice - move on.

    move on.
perhaps you could try the army? one far away, maybe one of those foreign ones?

She was already with him before this. Even, before we met up for the first time, she said she had a boyfriend.

I haven't read your other threads. But as a general rule it's not a good idea to tell someone you love them when you are not in a relationship with them.

It's far too strong and will scare most people away.

Move on. She's with someone and do you really want to get into that sort of messy situation if you're off to the old Legion?

salaco funny, but for chrissake the guys looking for advice, you dont need to be so smart! if all guys had your opinion then nobody would end up together, and fyi majority of women dont like 'real players' .

As one of the board ladies has asked, I will lay off on this poor specimen. As for last comment, salaco respectfully disagrees...

I think Salaco got lost looking for the humour forum and ended up here.

I think this girl is a bit of a head wrecker, she split from her ex, then used you as a crutch, then she completely left. If you do meet her ask her what was the story last time you met her, at least then you'll know where you stand with her. I wouldn't go telling her that you love her or dumping your feelings on her, just find out where you stand and what she was playing at last time you met together. She was effectively throwing out the signals at you, while wearing her engagement ring. You deserve to know where you stand, well I know I would!

Little chance of you finding yourself in the humour forum, you boring cuntwaffle. While you and the thread starter cuddle up real cosy to your dawsons creek dvd's, someone should really tell you that all of the above is just horrible, mawkish and misguided. "you deserve to know where you stand"? Out in the cold, alone, thats where he is. Something tells me you can identify with his predicament...

Its a personal problem, if it was funny do you honestly think it'd be posted here you fool, no I dont think so. I was offering the OP advice and nothing more, it was general advice and nothing more and you've added nothing constructive to this thread you muppet, now get off it.

 , admit it, it was lousy advice, you're almost getting there...I will continue to call your bitchcard as long as you peddle "general" nonsense as you did above....as you were, clown.

Salaco read this forum's charter please.

As much as I find the word cuntwaffle hilarious, any more off-topic posts or personal abuse will get you banned from PI.

salaco, that was pure class.... perfect antidote to navel gazing gob****ery and bland middle of the road piss poor advice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,082 ✭✭✭Tobias Greeshman

@landser, magpie and salaco, I really couldn't give a s**t if you think I gave crap advice, I was merely giving advice in regards to the OP's 3rd thread, how this girls fecked with OP head and then just sorta moved away. Thankfully I've never been in the same situation (been reasonably lucky enough with relationships) but if I was thats what I'd be doing, following the advice I gave.

    FFS stop trolling me!

try talking to one of her friends to find out what the deal is?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,946 ✭✭✭BeardyGit

The bloke is 21. He's in college. Failing in college (probably). He can't afford to treat the object of his desires to a great dinner let alone the trappings to which little Miss Older-than-Thee is no doubt accustomed.

She's a 28 year old college graduate, studying for her masters, working a full time career, probably re-engaged (don't believe a word), with her own car, probably her own apartment and all the social & sexual experience gained in the 7 years headstart she's got on Mr. Obsesso here.

A match made in heaven I'm sure. But none of this matters - REALLY doesn't matter. What matters is that you appear to be too shallow and emotionally immature to deal with your differences. You want people to feel sorry for you - Dude, you come to a board where you spill your guts about your miserable situation where you're "in love". You manage to pluck the heart-strings of a few less than experienced sheep and this makes you feel better? This strengthens your resolve in terms of how you'll deal with this?

Rossonero - You've been dumped. It's plain and simple. You're the "Vote Haughey" T-Shirt that's never going to be worn again but works fine for cleaning pish stains off the jacks seat. And it's not because you feel you're not good enough. You're a student FFS - Of course you're not good enough, you're expected to be young, broke and always on the verge of failing something - but that wouldn't really matter - Chances are it's because you were just as needy with her as you are when you come here looking for validation from strangers. Get over yourself and get on with your otherwise normal enough life. If you stay on the ground people are going to step on you....The rest of us might get in a sly kick or two while we're at it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,946 ✭✭✭BeardyGit

And BTW, don't even think of going near her again. She doesn't love you. We all know that. Take a strangers advice and save yourself the bother.

All you 'Hopeless Romantic' clowns can get back in your boxes.
