    Tablets. Persil.

Put them in the tray, not the drum, and let them melt into the drum. You get a much better wash that way, clothes feel softer.

Expert tests have shown that Atari Jaguar, in combination with a 40 degree wash can get rid of 90% of stains and that's far superior to the next leading brand.

Powder. It looks like sugar but tastes quite like something totally unlike sugar.

I use the cheapest thing in the supermarket - some sort of powder.

Anybody wanna educate me about washing? What does "bio" mean? How do you get your clothes to be really soft and smell nice? etc There should be a forum for this!

I don't know what the servants use for the washing, but if I'm over in that wing of the house later I'll ask them.
