Gentlemen if could ask your opinion on the following.

I'm just about to move into my new house and was wondering with whom to get my broadband connection with, Where i am currently we have eircom broadband which is fine but i don't really want to go down the route of having a land line ( girlfriend + phone = bad ).

I'll be using the pc mostly for poker 80% the rest for surfing etc.
i,m located in ashbourne Co. meath.
the cheaper the better as i'd like to be able to pay for it through my online winnings.
What connection do you online players use.

Any help would be much appreicated.
    Cheers
    Fathead

You may get more answers in a techie / comms type forum?

If you don't want a landline and do want an internet connection then I would imagine that you are left with wireless broadband as your only option. Check out www.irishbroadband.ie and see if they cover your area. I think the cost is about E35 per month.

These two are wireless as well.
Not sure how speeds are {Should be good enough for poker)and again it will depend on location......
