Stress Testing Graphics Chips

from time to time I come across systems that lockup radomly. They will pass Stress Prime & Memtest86. The HD's wll be in perfect order and windows will be freshly installed as a matter of course.

What I would like is a way to stress-test graphics. Generally these tests will be run on laptops that have pretty crap graphics. So Quake 1 kind of thing is good enough.

Ive looked into doing a constant loop with quakeGL 1 at the command line, but no joy.

Just wondering if you guys have suggestions of how to Stress Test a graphics card covering 2d, OpenGL & D3D on a range of machines from POS 8mb to 256mbXT's

Ideally, im looking for something I can let run in a loop, like prime95 and walk away for a few hours.
