Anyone know what is the story with golfers insurance. Is it covered in the green fee or do you have to take it out. We were playing at the weekend and the mate hit a young guy with his golf ball of the tee (only bruised). Fair enough the kid was'nt supposed to be there but if he was badly injured (god forbid) would the mate be held liable? Also if you have to take out your own golfer's insurance how are you allowed to play without it. I mean your not allowed drive without insurance, get on a plane without it but you can play golf? Whats the story does anyone know.
