Channel 4 and the Big Brother sponsors TalkTalk are using the technology of text messaging to find 1,000 Big Brother fans to star in their new Big Brother advertising campaign from Friday 13th May.

The lucky 1,000 who text the codeword: "bbevent" to 81125 before 11pm on Monday 9th May, will receive a text message back informing them whether or not they have been successful in becoming one of the thousand.

Little is known about the event as all details are top secret, however we can tell you that it will take place in a top secret location in the East End of London between 11am and 3pm.

Those who are successful in the competition will also have the chance to win a share in over £100,000 worth of prizes.

Only entrants who receive a text with a lucky unique winners code will gain entry to the private event, and those who enter must be over 18.

What is this all about? What will the advert entail? Stick with us for the latest?

After we previously reported details of the upcoming Big Brother event, in which 1,000 lucky Big Brother fans would help create a Big Brother advertising campaign, we have picked up on a number of rumours surrounding the event.

It is believed that the 1,000 fans are needed to help construct a 'human' version of the Big Brother eye, to follow in theme with the current advertising campaign produced by Big Brother sponsors TalkTalk.

The adverts, as seen on the TalkTalk website here, use members of the public to make up iconic images such as a heart, a map of the British Isles and a telephone symbol.

It has also been revealed by a lucky entrant to the competition, that the location for the advertising shoot is at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London. This was also the location for the filming of the ITV1 reality series 'Hell's Kitchen', which has since been demolished.

Stick with us for the latest on this story!
