    Article from DS:BB

The American version of Big Brother will premiere on Thursday, July 7, it has been confirmed.

The weekly airdates for the sixth season have also been identified by CBS as Tuesday (9pm), Thursday (8pm) and Saturday (8pm).

The Thursday episode, once again hosted by Julie Chen, will feature the live eviction of one of the houseguests.

This year's show will be screened in the UK on E4.

I'm not such a fan of the US BB. Dont know why.

I did watch some of it year before last but it wasnt as good as UK one.

Calling them "Houseguests" doesnt help its case either.

Hmm, wondering why E4 are screening BBUS6, after skipping last year's series because of the dismal ratings performance in 2003!

BB4 USA that was on E4 in 2003 was much more enjoyable than that year's UK effort. I was disappointed last summer when E4 didn't show the US one again. The US version just had a better idea of evictions, immunity, tasks, getting the housemates to be competitive and bitchy etc.. In comparison the UK BB4 was lazy and boring. That being said, BB5 was easily the most inventive UK one yet, so hopefully they keep it up this year!

Either way, I'm glad the US one will be making an appearance this year. :D

No no no no no no no no no! The Amarican Big Brother is awful. It completeyl ruins Big Brother. It makes it just another mindless generic reality show. A horrible thing.
