My dad booked me and my friends tickets last night, faxed me the confirmation page and her last name is off by one letter. We're flying with Aer Lingus in June. Does it matter? Would they even notice? I didn't think so but better safe than sorry.

Give them a call - they'll normally change one letter mis-spellings and typos for free. Technically they could refuse travel if the names don't match (not saying they would, but it is a possibility)

shouldnt really matter because they can just change it on the boarding pass you get when you check in, but as BuffyBot said better call them just incase :) best of luck

In '99 I tavelled to greece from london. friends of mine booked our flights from their but put my knickname down as my name by accident. When I got my tickets in the airport i couldn't believe it. nothing was said at the checkin desk. although that was well before 9/11 so things have changed hugely since then
