Construction in Progress...

Right, first thing I'm going to rant about is how someone mentioned before about the spunk trees. I've been casually thinking about what trees you were talking about, and still haven't smelt no damn spunk by the museum building.

Ok, onto what this thread is about.

I noticed construction has begun on the green stretch outside the Museum Building. They've also started putting up barriers along the path from the 1937 to the Museum (which sucks when you're cycling) and moved the bike lock pad things.

    The port-a-loos are coming...

Thinking of construction, what's with the bunting over the sports hall site? it's all shiny and festive looking, is there an engineering reason for it, or did they just get tired of digging holes and decide to put up some christmas type decorations?

    sights of spring:

    i) blossom on trees = hmmm, must start that study thing
ii) baby ducks = aaww, how cute, must start studying soon
iii) people sitting outside the pav, drinking in the sun = that looks like fun, must
try that out, after i've started studying for those exams things
iv) tents being built for the Ball = NO!!!! NOT THAT TIME ALREADY!!!should have
    started studying a long
    time ago.....

I was thinking about its absence there recently myself and was tring to remember around what time it started at last year, or that maybe I was mistaken altogether and that the smell was coming from me instead!! (joke. seriously) but during the last week or so there has been an smell coming from the trees. Of flowers albeit, but maybe it takes a while for it to turn sour.

I had a few lever arch files with me...was on the bottle floor of the hamilton, underneath the stairs (ish)? Not sure about the IQnet thing though.

Hmmm, the portaloos have made their way up beyond the door of the Old Library...

Saw the director of building and the safety officer doing a tour of the campus with some ball safety people. I expounded the portaloos incident(s). They were only aware of one and I clarified that only one was reported and portaloo tilting happens regularily. They were talking about having stewards posted specifically at either end and/or putting some sort of wooden/concrete buttress at either end to ensure there is no repeat of the previous incidents.......

Buttery I'd guess, but good luck queuing. (not that you won't have to queue outside)

Just to let you know that the trees that were indicated on the map by Apex have started to emit their foul odour. I will update you on the progress of the trees in other locations asap!
