I'm after loosing a Cd-Case full of about 50 Pc games, I've been searching the last half hour, no sign of it.

    It's driving me insane....

I know what you mean... it's the absolute worst!

I was always losing my phone. Though i got this program for it, PhoneSecure. It's useful for both losing your phone and having it stolen. If i send a text message to it with "::lock <my password>"... an alarm rings out and disables the phone for use unless i re-enter my password. Also, if you change the sim in it, it will send the number of the new sim in a text message to a specified no. The phone will be disabled until the password is entered again. All this is useful if your phone is stolen!

The extremely loud alarm is useful when your phone is lost! :D

i find that the best thing to do when you've lost something in your house is to start tidying.

    always works for me

I did the cleaning bit, both my room and the computer room....still no sign.

I want to rip my hair out.

Well, no, not really. I like my hair.

But I'm a tad aggrevated now.

Yep thats soo annoying alright, theres an old saying which say that St. Anthony will find lost stuff, or at least thats what old yellars say anyway. Stuff like that usually turn up in the strangest of places, my fathere once found his reading glasses in the fridge freezer !!

Saw a great episode of the 'Twilight Zone' once. A guy couldn't understand how he kept loosing things and then finding them again in places where he had already looked. The jist of the story was that each moment in time was also a new point of space and that everything had to be completely constructed from scratch by an army of cosmic workers. Sometimes they forgot, or didn’t have enough time to get everything in the right place – hence mysteriously vanished objects. They would try to rectify it for the next moment in time.

Why don’t you put that to the test and search again in a place you already searched, you might get lucky. :)

There really are a lot of people confusing the word "lose" with the word "loose", aren't there?

Use cheese. Although, I've heard other people use bacon rind.

Oh, sorry. A CD case. That's a different beast. You're wandering into batter burger territory there.
