I'm wondering, what ports does Msn messenger use? I've a friend needing to use it, and it won't work, not even in clones like trillian. I've a feeling the port its using is blocked.

does he have a firewall setup on his rig? could be blocking access.

Does the firewall not say what port is trying to be accessed when messenger is trying to connect?
