Using a v620 with vodafone

I was thinking of buying a Motorola v620 from the internet (sim-free), for about €260-280. I was wondering if anyone else has used this phone in ireland, preferably with vodafone and if so was it hard to set up to the vodafone network. It looks a really cool phone, I so want to get rid of my v550 and get this phone.
