Thinking of selling my computer to buy a laptop...

Okay, I've got a 2 and a half year old desktop and I'm thinking of getting a laptop, mostly for college work and some gaming. But I don't have much money to spend on a laptop, so I'd like a guideline as to how much my old machine is worth.
Specs: (Packard Bell, can't remember model number offhand)
    2.0GHz Pentium 4 processor
    256MB RAM (shared 64MB graphics)
    40GB hard drive
    Columbia motherboard
    17" CRT monitor
Windows XP home edition, no service packs installed

How much should I sell this for?

(Mods, feel free to move if there is somewhere more appropriate for this)
