A few lads in work are booking package holidays for the week. €350 for a week. Hotel and Flights. 1 hour from istanbul....

sounds like the easiest way IMO.

Which travel company did you book the holiday with?

Did you get your match tickets yet?? If you did where did you get them from, any spares??

Try alternative airlines. 00442072412687 or 00448700411666.
They fly from Gatwick to Istanbul but I'm not sure about dates though

I booked flights from dublin via germany to istanbul for 360yoyo's using aer lingus & turkish airlines. The only thing is the dates are from the 23rd - 27th, any closer dates were coming in at BIG prices...

Please be carefull with the Turkeys airlines.
I work at Eindhoven Airport (the Netherlands) and at the moment Onur and Fly Air (both Turkeys) are in trouble with their planes (one had a motor exploding while on a flight from Amsterdam to Istanbul).
Their planes are in very bad shape (that is why they are so cheap).

Good tip, they'll probably be overworking their planes over those dates also...
