    Whats the story with sticking tracksuit legs inside your socks?

    Actually, considering who does it, it's just dawned on me ; )

    Has anyoen seen it done with Burberry socks?

    it looks so ****. even if you were a skanger, and all your mates were doing it, why in gods name would you do it too. it just looks so crap.

    It stops your trousers from being sucked into the spokes of a bicycle while cycling.
    However there are less stupid ways to avoid such an occurance.

    It keeps the bottom of your tracksuit dry if it's been raining. Also, it looks pretty comfortable. (I don't have many new/therefore tight socks)

    i'd probably try it out to see what the fuss is about but since i don't have any tracksuits or white socks i don't think i will, still i would never do it in public.

    Hmmm i used to know this french guy and he used to do it but he said it was a gang kinda thing! Gangs are soooo.. 1950'ies so dont know why he still does it. Only other people iv sen doin it is Knackers and there pathetic enough to be segragated into gangs and that like.But the thing about prevention of pants to spoke entanglement is true and a good tip for alround cyclist ruined many a pair of flares riding my infernal bike!

    lol, me too.. A guy I used to hang around with around third class used to do it.. Don't know why tho. He wasn't exactly performing at top speed so to speak.. We did it immitating him..
