Oh God it is terrible,so corny and just stupid. Saw a few eps on FX289. Avoid!

I quite like it actually. The characters are humourous which keeps it interesting.

Saw the first episode when it came out in the states last year. They used the same set as the movie Air Force One and had a related in-joke. Nothing to write home about though. Poor man's CSI.

I think any thing with Mark Harmon is a must-see. He is a brilliant actor. Check out some of his previous stuff.

Have been following NCIS on FX for ages now. And this is coming from a guy who never follows tv series. Never followed JAG or any of the CSI programmes but thoroughly enjoy NCIS ever since I first saw it in the States.

Didn't think it would be suitable morning viewing for RTE though. Some scenes are a bit "you don't want to show your kids" kinda thing.

BTW way series 2 finished last Friday in the States and FX. And ... it is on every week night on FX (channel 270).

NCIS is one of the best programmes to come around in a long while, forget CSI, forget Threat Matrix, THIS IS GOOD!! It's the characters that make the show or else it would just be a JAG version of CSI but it's not, it's actually pretty good. I would recommend it, especially season two. Saw the first 2 episodes of season 3 on Fx 289 on Friday Night, not bad, but i miss kate !!;)

Poor kate , I miss her too . But I did enjoy seeing her in the short schoolgirs outfit .

Season 3 isnt living up to the first two. It's gone downhill without Kate. Her replacement is terrible. Doubt it sees a fourth season

Bit repetitive for me. Proby this Proby that, Kooky sidekick needs her caffeine, Zeeva gets her English mixed up, Kooky sidekick works her tech magic, Mark Harmon clips Tony around the ear. Yawn.

I really like NCIS, it's a good show. The interaction between Tony, Kate and 'probie' was brilliant. Zeena or whatever her name is, I can live without. Abbie is pretty cool.

Mark Harmon has always been a great actor and I like his character. Some good humour in the show.

If by humourous you mean corny, stupid and one-dimensional, then yes, the characters are humourous.

Go watch a proper US drama like 'House' if you like that sort of thing.

Thanks for the heads up. I love NCIS.... its my favourite of all of them. Its on channel five every fri and sat night..... Its CSI with a sense of humour!
