Hello and welcome to the "Things to Do In..." forum.

What is the purpose of this forum?
Well, its quite simple really - this is where you can help people looking for something to do when they visit your part of the world. Or if you are visiting somewhere and need a few pointers on hotels, activities and such.

There are, however, a few rules you will need to observe before you post here:
    • While letting others know of events such as festivals and such is encouraged, commercial advertising and [wiki]pimping[/wiki] will not be tolerated. Try the Gigs/Events forum. Also go there for anything ticket related (make sure to read their charter too). Feel free to let others know about your event in response to a requests for things to do, but starting a thread to pimp your event is not allowed. This goes for ANY type of site pimp (event, commercial, ...)
    • Please follow normal internet posting etiquette when posting here, or anywhere on boards; NO flaming or attacking other users, NO comments of a racist or bigoted nature. Libellous posts against any user, person, or establishment will be removed and its author will be banned.
    • Please do not use text speak and try to spell check your posts. It just makes it harder for everyone else to read and understand if you don't.

If you have a problem with a post, thread or user, use the 'Report Bad Post' icon (report.gif) or PM one of the mods. We are listed at the bottom-right of the forum.

If you have a problem with a decision made by one of the mods on this board, standard operating procedure is to PM them first, then one of the co-mods and then the Category mod - alternatively you can take the matter up with the admins in Helpdesk

Hope you find what you are looking for in this forum :)
