Backing up files from DVD-RW

    Hey

    Recorder onto a Maxwell DVD-RW and edit the commercials outfrom the start using the dvd player

    Now I want to copy it onto a normal dvd-r
    Opened up Nero and there where no files on the disc same with DVD Shrink

    What can I do ?

    You tried opening with DVD Decrypter? Then re-copying back onto the HD, then rewriting with shrink/nero. Long shot, but twas the first thing that sprang to mind :)

    Do you want to decrease the Bitrate to shrink the filesize or what...more details please???

    Put it in your standalone recorder, and try "finalising" the disc. The problem with DVD-R's is that they have to be finalised before they can be read. If it was a DVD+R you wouldn't have that problem.

    Thats just one of the (few) differences in the specs of the two kinds of DVDR.

    That was the solution to finalize it

    Now it will play on PC
