I dunno if this has been asked before, but does the WWE need an Off-Season to make the product better, or should the still work year round with no breaks?..

Ive always said yes, and off season is needed, even if for a month after Wrestlemania, if for no other reason, to build a bit of anticipation again.

Look at the month/2 months after Mania for the last few years, and it doesnt make for great watching. Apart from Backlash last year, every Backlash has been crap.

Also, in a 'close season' they could do the draft as a show in itself, much like the Hall Of Fame ceremony. They could repackage a few wrestlers who are in need like Y2J and Dupree (who apparently is off TV for the foreseeable as he is being repackaged :source wrestlezone.com).

    BTW gimmick...

I seem to remember us differing on whether it would be worth it or not to watch Backlash.....Who was right I wonder?:-)
