where to buy canon lenses ??

    just looking for place to buy canon lenses.

    Would you buy from ebay? Is there any place in Dublin that would fix it if something goes wrong or your lens needs calibration?

    I bought a fish-eye lens off ebay and happy with it. Pretty sure I'd be on my own as far as calibration or repairs...I also bought have a couple of lenses from Bermingham Cameras (near Messrs Maguire) and they are very good - although not internet prices ;-) It's always having a look in their second hand cabinet though - lots of perfectly good EOS lenses in there.

    another vote for ebay. I've gotten loads of stuff off there, including several lenses, and no problems at all.

    I think Merrions fish eye was relatively cheap on ebay though wasn't it? I wouldn't buy a good lens off ebay myself, just because you don't have a comeback. I recently bought a Canon 10-22mm from computeruniverse.net and was very pleased with both the lens and the service.
