    This one:

    20jazz.jpg

The actual album sounds nothing at all like jazz or funk, it's pure electronic noise and the sound of modern electronica being created. Also, a note of trivia, the photo was taken at Beachy Head, Britain's #1 suicide spot.

No points for originality, but anyway:

Not something I can post a picture of but if you ever get your hands on a Hafler Trio release, the majority of them have absolutely amazing sleeves, the guy who is the Hafler Trio (he uses a misleading name) is a graphics designer by trade.

Visually it has to be Seargent Peppers but as an album cover Damien Rice's 'O'. I love the way it's like opening a book :)

Or maybe the original Sticky Fingers vinyl album cover :)

Thats the one for me! Such a simple image but it has this incredible visual aura to it that screams pure rock n' roll. Not a bad album either I tell you!

If you look at the back cover of this album, it's the same picture in black & white, except there's a naked body (probably supposed to be dead) lying in the grass in front of the band.

Not on the version I have. I know there is on the cd reissue but I've a vinyl version on Industrial Records/Mute from 1983. The back cover is the tracklisting and lyrics and a picture of a jeep. I think the body ruins the artwork, makes it too obvious. Although Throbbing Gristle generally are over the top.

    Quite cool.

Apparently the Clash album cover was kinda based on the first Elvis album.
Read abvout it here ---> The Clash by Gene Hyde
They often paid homage to American music, tributes that ranged from their version of the Bobby Fuller Four's "I Fought the Law" to the cover art of London Calling, with a design lifted directly from the cover of Elvis Presley's first album

Have a look ---> Sorry about the size of the pic. but I think it's kinda cool too!
