    I want to clear something up here, from my understanding if its a black ball game the game is decided by a foul or a pot. does that mean is player A is on 55 points and player B is on 59 points if player B fouls and gives 7 points to player A, the points will be 62 and 59 and the black is still on the table, it doesn't matter that there is still 7 points on the table because the game is decided on the foul. can someone clear that up for me.

    Yes, the frame will end there and then with player A winning by 62 to 59.

    Might as well post here rather than start a new thread..

    During my lunchtime session of snooker today a small arguement started between my friend and I, here's the question;

    If player A scratches, and there isn't LOS to any ball (ie player B gets a free ball), if player B decides to let player A take the shot from the kitchen instead, does he get a free ball?

    Sorry if that's confusing but I can't think of any way to put it simpler :)

    Thanks in advance

    Yep, he gets the option of the free ball too if you put him in.
