I sometimes forward my work email to my blackberry, and I seem to get loads of SPAM...

I don't notice it on my desktop because my Mail app has an aggressive SPAM filter so nothing usually gets through...

Has anyone heard or / used any kind of SPAM filter for blackberries?

the best way would be for your work to implement a spam filter like brightmail or somethign in to their mail server

Are you forwarding from Outlook or is it being forwarded from an Exchange server ?

Another question is if the email gets forwared before getting spam filtered - in which case you might try a different spam filter - I like spambayes.

if you are Outlook as an POP/SMTP client then you could use a filter before it gets to Outlook. Spambayes has an option for this too.

It gets forwarded from the server (a webhost) after the spam filter goes through it... but the spam filter (spam assassin) only 'marks it as spam' and doesn't delete it... so it's up to the mail client to delete it at the moment...

Our place does the same. Spamassassin puts a big "*****SPAM*****" in the subject. I'm using Outlook, so I just implement a server rule that moves all mail with this, into the Junk Suspects folder, and then Redirector (by default) doesn't forward on this mail.

Not sure if that's any use to you though :)
