    Riddle of the Human Hobbits
Documentary revealing the discovery on the remote Indonesian island of Flores, the fossils of a tiny human. These tiny prehistoric humans - Homo Floresiensis - were just three feet tall: the same size as three-year-olds. Dubbed 'Hobbits', they existed only on this one remote island, and may have lived as recently as 13,000 years ago. Their discovery could fundamentally change our perception of who we are and where we come from.

They had the lads paddling away on rafts about 800,000 years ago. Doesn't sound plauseable.

How about volcanic ash - up to 1m of ash and rafts of pumice there in the past maybe they could have crossed on it ?
