    Dave, thanks for that. This bit is somewhat worrying:
    When Brian O'Brien steps down as manager, O'Sullivan intends to replace him with a PA type, thus leaving Ireland with no backs coach, no manager and now no defensive coach which is as close to the definition of crisis you can get.

    Overtraining?! Surely such an obvious fault would be easily spotted and avoided.

    Where has the real EOS gone - the one that the players said was the real reason they were playing well whilst Gatland was "taking credit"?

    I would have to agree - I think the extended training was one of the reasons we were able to beat S.A. in the Autumn. However, I would imagine that the fact that we are quite an old team didn't help us much
