This HH is from the $20 on Stars. 449 players entered and about 150 left. Chip leader is two to my left but he's basically sucked out on everyone at the table so far. He's a moron.

    What does he have here?

Well, the fact that you're posting the hand makes me think he beats you. He had 7 8 off?! Not trip sixes?! His play indicates he caught something on the flop (trip fours or trip nines), but I am sure it isn't quite this simple...

    AA or 78o

Well he's the chip leader, so I don't think he's gotten there by calling 1000 on 78o.

I'd say AA, played well to get you to go all in. That or he slow played a pair of tens or 9s. I don't think he would have called 44, but it's always possible.

    66 or 78

i think he possibly has an overpair on the flop, i.e jj,QQ,KK and has played it to represent the A when he sees the A pop up.

but then im usually wrong ....

Early chip leaders in online tourneies usually get their lead by taking big chances and drawing out a few times. Notice how rare it is that the early chip leader makes it to the final table of a big multi tournament. Looks like this guy made his chips by "sensing weakness" and trying to push people off the pot. Unfortunately for him he found someone who can actually feign weakness.

A few hands later he defended his blind with Q-4 soooted against my K-J soooted. I flopped top 2 pair and he reraised me all in. Winning the hand meant I would be top 5 in chips. He outdrew me to a flush and busted me.

With 70 left he was still a good chip leader. 18 places paid. He finished 47th.
