Why is their some sort of rivalry between boards and p45rant ? i remember posting there about 4 years ago while being banned from here, i found the place quite dead compared to here plus their site layout is brutal.

Well, I had to bring it down and shift them around a bit. Basically, they are now safely installed into H365's shiny new datacentre for your browsing pleasure.

Hmmm this is a bit odd. I can get onto boards by putting in the IP and hence wander around, but going straight to boards.ie/whatever doesn't work on firefox.

Hmmm , I have no reply button in IE , and in both ie and firefox I have to input "http://82.195.144.58" to get on here , for me www.boards.ie does not work . Am I alone , well I mean here cause there are loads of ppl here with me in my head .

Yeah DNS should have finished propagating, so we took off the NAT. Its actual IP is 82.195.136.36. 144.58 is the old IP.

OK, this is odd: I put a constant ping on boards, it was going to the .136 address, was timing out. Stopped the ping, did it again, DNS decides to throw me to the old address. It's still redirecting to the .144 address now.

Problems with Opera 8 (I assumed it was everyone) boards was off air for me for a few hours...

No problems with firefox but over the last few hours I've had trouble accessing the site. Either the browser timed out or the connection was refused.

if you connect to the new IP, it'll be grand. DNS will refresh for most people soon.

Hmm, www.boards.ie not working again. Was fine last night.

But if I do something like http://www.1234.boards.ie/ it works fine. (or any word where 1234 is works)

Im having to use the IP for the last few days, which means thread buttons and other images that use www.boards.ie... are not displaying. Boards.ie still not resolving on IOL Anytime.

Anyone wana supply me a DNS number that does link boards.ie?

images load normally for me on this one. are you using the old IP or the one I have posted here?
