This is another stupid "things I like thread" but I was thinking today while I was eating a bowl of olives, how I used to hate them but now I love them same with the list below. I will probably edit this as I go on, but with age things that I used to hate (really hate) I now love.

i actually used to gag if i so much as tasted garlic.
can't get enough of the stuff now

olives, avacado, wine, guinness (not my fave drink by a long shot, but i'd have the odd pint if the only beers on tap are bud and harp)

ehm... acid techno is really started to grow on me at the moment. used to think it was just about bearable if you were utterly twisted out of it

I have a brother thats 5'10", he gets slagged alot for being short... It is fairly tall though in fairness, I read somewhere recently that the US average female height is 5'4" in the US, although I think Irish girls are pretty tall. The tallest in the world (average) is the netherlands.
