My Sky+ has lost all its recordings...

    I've replaced the hard disk with a new one and performed a full system reset. It worked for a day after that but now it just comes up with an error.
    I have been running the box with a 200GB maxtor for about 6 months with no problems up until now.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Looks to me like I've no option but to ditch the box and buy a new one for 300Euros:((((

    Have you tried replacing the hard disk with the one that came with it originally? If there is not a problem with that at least you can verify that the box itself is OK.

    Still no joy it works fine for a while then it just freezes up and I have to plug it in and out.

    Don't sky offer a fixed price repair for sky+? That would be way cheaper than a new box.
