who knows about split coils?

    how much would it cost to make my guitar split coil .would i have to pay a proffesional and get new pickups or what?

    Are you talking about splitting a humbucker so it runs as a single coil? If so, yes you'll need a fair bit of work done (push/pull pots to split the signal) and if your current pickups aren't 4 conductor (wire) you'll need new pickups. If you're useful at soldering and electronics you could do it yourself but if not, best leave it to a professional.

    A push pull pot is about €15. To get a pro to do it, maybe €30-40? I'm not too sure.
